Case Study One
 

We were introduced to an adviser called Steve by his own network BDM (Business Development Manager), who could see that Steve had so much potential, but was being held back by the day-to-day running of his own business. 

The lack of systems and large amounts of paperwork was seriously impacting on the amount of time that Steve had to spend generating new business.

The first stage was to carry out our Adviser Review, which gave us an opportunity to really brainstorm and discuss every area of Steve's business. The improvements we discussed helped Steve to improve the business relationship with his clients.

We then set up an Act! client management system that we designed and tailored specifically to meet Steve's business needs. We also created an operations manual as we knew that in time Steve's business would expand to the point where he may need to recruit a full time administrator.

A big problem for Steve was the amount of paperwork that he had accumulated over the last 15 years so we also implemented a document management solution, which integrated with Act! This reduced over 7 filing cabinets down to just 3 drawers. 

After these initial needs had been met we soon found that there was still more to do, so we assisted Steve by project managing the implementation of a new computer system, a website and several marketing campaigns. 

Steve wanted me involved in his business on a more regular basis, so we agreed to set up a retainer so that he can have our input and guidance whenever he needed it.  This works well for him as he can manage his costs and most importantly he has a team on hand that understands his business as well as he does.

Case Study Two

We have just completed a project which found us working with a small firm of IFA's based in central London.

After 15 years in business, they found themselves at that point where they realised that the systems and procedures that supported their business in the early days had now become a hinder to their business growth.

Inefficiencies had set in and they needed to do something about it and fast..!

They approached us without really knowing what they needed to do next, but after our initial meeting it was clear in my mind what they needed!

We agreed the strategy and put together a plan that saw us break down each area of their business, review every single task within it and document each process from start to finish.

After a rewarding 8 months we launched their 'Operations Manual', their business bible, their indispensable tool!

Since its launch the business has gone from strength to strength; they can now grow their business efficiently and effortlessly by delivering each of their business processes time and time again and to the level their clients expect.
